Chord charts, lead sheets, lyrics, and other downloadable compositional files marked as “free” are licensed at no cost for personal use and church-worship use, including:

• Performing the song in a worship service or congregational setting
• Reproducing the chart for your worship team or musicians
• Adapting the arrangement for your team’s instrumentation
• Projecting lyrics in services through ProPresenter, EasyWorship, or similar software
• Storing copies in your church’s internal music library
• Livestreaming or recording services that include the song on your church’s own platforms (YouTube, Facebook, website, podcast), with composer attribution maintained
• Translating lyrics for non-commercial use within your congregation

Free resources may not be:

• Sold, sublicensed, or redistributed as your own
• Re-hosted, mirrored, or redistributed through another website or file-sharing service
• Included in a paid collection, songbook, or training course without written permission
• Used as input or training data for generative AI training datasets
• Lyrics altered, rewritten, or translated for any use beyond your own congregation without written permission
• Recorded or published commercially without a separate license

Arrangement adaptations to fit your team’s instrumentation are always permitted and do not require notice. Minor congregational adjustments (such as repeating a phrase for emphasis) are within the spirit of this grant.

The free-use grant above applies to compositional materials (charts, lead sheets, lyrics). If audio files (demos, click tracks, stems, or recordings) are offered on the site, those are master recordings governed by separate terms provided at the point of download.

Personal cover performances posted to social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) are permitted under those platforms’ existing licensing arrangements with BMI and other performing rights organizations. No separate permission from this site is needed.

Songs on this site that are registered with CCLI are listed with their CCLI number on each song page. If your church already reports song usage through CCLI or a similar service, reporting under the listed number helps support continued songwriting. It is appreciated, not required. The free-use grant above is offered in addition to any existing licensing your church holds, not as a replacement.

Some resources on this site may be offered for purchase. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms in this section, which apply to the specific item purchased in addition to anything stated on the product page.

Purchase of a digital download grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the work for personal use and within one church congregation. Permitted uses include:

• Printing copies for your worship team and musicians
• Projecting lyrics in services
• Performing the song in worship services
• Adapting the arrangement for your team’s instrumentation
• Storing copies in your church’s internal music library
• Livestreaming or recording services that include the song on your church’s own platforms (YouTube, Facebook, website, podcast), with composer attribution maintained
• Translating lyrics for non-commercial use within your congregation

The license does not permit:

• Sharing the file with other churches or organizations
• Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the file
• Re-hosting or mirroring the file on another website or file-sharing service
• Including the work in a commercial recording, songbook, or training course
• Using the work as input or training data for generative AI training datasets
• Altering, rewriting, or translating lyrics for any use beyond your own congregation without written permission
• Sync use in film, TV, video, or commercial media

One purchase covers one church. Additional churches or organizations using the same resource each need their own license.

Digital downloads are generally non-refundable once delivered. If you experience a technical problem with a file, or made an accidental purchase, email music@jonathanglisson.com within 14 days and we will make it right.

Paid resources are provided “as is” for the licensed uses described above. We do our best to deliver accurate, polished files, but we make no warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose beyond the uses listed.

Sync licenses (film, TV, video, commercials, online content), print licenses for inclusion in commercial songbooks, and any other use beyond personal and church worship are handled separately. Email licensing@glissonmusic.com with your use case.

Cover recordings of compositions on this site are subject to statutory mechanical licensing in the United States and may be obtained through The Mechanical Licensing Collective or your preferred mechanical licensing agent.

When sharing or performing a song from this site, attribute the work to its composers as listed on each song page.

Songs arranged by Jonathan Glisson based on public-domain hymns may be used freely under the public-domain status of the source work. New choruses, bridges, and original arrangements remain under copyright and are covered by the license terms on this page.

Some songs on this site may be co-written or co-published. Co-writers’ shares are administered through their own publishers and may be subject to different terms for commercial use. For licensing of co-written works beyond personal and church worship, contact licensing@glissonmusic.com so we can coordinate with all rights holders.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

These terms may be updated as the offerings on this site grow. Changes apply to use going forward. Downloads and purchases made under earlier terms keep their original license.
