Email addresses, only when you subscribe. You give us your email by filling in a subscribe form. We pass it to MailerLite, which sends you new-release announcements and occasional updates. We do not use it for anything else.

Cloudflare access logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs requests to the site for abuse prevention and rate limiting. Logs include IP address, the page requested, and a user-agent string. This is standard for any site and retained per Cloudflare’s policy.

Aggregate analytics, no personal profile. We track anonymous, aggregated page views and event counts through Cloudflare Web Analytics and PostHog. Neither sets cookies on your device, and we do not fingerprint visitors. PostHog is configured for memory-only persistence, which means closing the tab clears the session.

No cookies. No localStorage tracking. No fingerprinting. No third-party ad pixels. We have no plans to add any.

Your email is used only to send new-release announcements and occasional updates through MailerLite, typically four to eight emails per year mostly tied to new song releases. We do not share it with advertisers, sell it, or use it to build profiles of you across other sites.

Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Cloudflare logs are retained according to Cloudflare’s own retention windows, typically short. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data and have no retention impact on you individually.

YouTube embeds (on song pages with a lyric video) use youtube-nocookie.com, the cookieless variant, so they do not set tracking cookies until you press play.

Some of these providers process data outside your country of residence. They are bound by applicable data protection frameworks, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant.

You can unsubscribe from emails anytime via the link at the bottom of any email we send.

You can request a copy of your data or its deletion by emailing music@jonathanglisson.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you are a resident of the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise any of these rights, email music@jonathanglisson.com.

EU and UK residents also have the right to file a complaint with their local data protection authority.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email music@jonathanglisson.com and we will delete it.

We may update this page as the site grows. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top. Previous versions are available on request.
